TAT (Tapas Acupressure Technique)

TAT is part of a larger branch of alternative medicine known as energy medicine/energy psychology. It uses specific hand positions placed on specific acupressure points and along with gentle guidance, and holding these positions for a few moments, energy begins to move in ways it could not before. The goal is to move energy that may be blocked, and triggering the Stress Response, to restore proper flow of energy and in turn allowing you to be in the Rest Response, or healing response.

TAT is particularly useful for helping deal with traumas, PTSD, anxiety, depression, limiting or negative beliefs, self esteem, self confidence and much more.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

Emotional freedom technique (EFT) is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It’s also referred to as tapping or psychological acupressure.

People who use this technique believe tapping the body can create a balance in your energy system and treat pain. According to its developer, Gary Craig, a disruption in energy is the cause of all negative emotions and pain.

Though still being researched, EFT tapping has been used to treat people with anxiety and people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
